风靡全球的“Rednex”，是一组来自美国爱达荷州五人团体，这五人团体是由Mary Joe（主唱）、Ken Tacky（Banjo/主唱及斑鸠琴)、Billie Ray及Bobby Sue（小提琴手）及Billy Boy Stiiff（鼓手）所组成。  
Rednex以一首颠覆电子舞曲风格及独树一格的“Cotton Eye Joe”征服了全球歌迷，并创造欧美9个国家榜首百万销售佳绩，可是就在“Rednex”大放异彩时悄然消失，团员们回老乡种田的种田、做工的做工，一点都不眷恋名利双收的娱乐生活。直到六年后的今天，他们第二张专辑《Farm out》以其先声夺人的气势再次获得肯定，累积目前为止他们两张专辑已有8首金榜金曲。
Rednex是一个非常著名的创意小组，他们成员的组成很松散，包括，制作人，演唱者，作家，程序员，动画师，设计师等等。Rednex 的演唱者来自荷兰，瑞典，英国，最终他们选择了阿姆斯特丹作为他们的基地。
现在，Rednex的演唱成员包括 Scarlet (女主音歌手), Dagger (男主音歌手), Joe Cagg (吉他) and Jay Lee (小提琴＋吉他)，从十几年前成立到现在，他们已经是 Rednex 的第五代演唱团队了。
